HIKARU SHIROSU

Hikaru Shirosu (白素 光) is a Japanese composer, pianist, record producer and sound engineer.

He started learning music at Yamaha Music School at the age of 4. He learned composing and arranging for 6 years, performing technique for 12 years.

On March 11, 2011, the great earthquake happened in his city.
The experience changed his life.
He decided to try to do what he really wants to do before he dies.

In 2019, he started releasing piano songs.

In 2023, "Waltz No. 1, Collapse" got 10M streams on Spotify. 

In 2025, his music got 100M streams on the all streaming platforms in total. He reached No. 9 Classical Artist in Japan on Spotify.

His original sheet music sold 1,000 copies in total.

He composes, performs, edits (mixing and mastering), creates animation, films all by himself.

Currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music (Professional Certificate) and The Juilliard School (Extension).

４歳からヤマハ音楽教室にて、音楽を学び始める。作曲と編曲を６年間学び、演奏法を１２年間学ぶ。

2011年、東日本大震災で被災し、死を間近に感じ、長年の夢だった歌手活動を始める。

2019年、ピアノ曲のリリースを開始。

2023年、「Waltz. No, 1 Collapse」の総再生回数がSpotifyで1000万回を超える。

2025年、全音楽配信サービスでの総再生回数が１億回を超える。自主制作の楽譜の売上が1,000部を超える。

作曲、演奏、レコーディング、ミキシング、マスタリング、ジャケットデザイン、MV、レーベル運営、全てを自身が担う。

現在、米バークリー音楽大学（専門課程）とジュリアード音楽院（エクステンション）在籍中。
